Before fully leveraging Qvasa’s powerful AI-driven analytics and alerting capabilities, it’s important to configure a few key settings. These ensure seamless integration with your tools and proper management of notifications and workflows. Follow this guide to get started.
1. API Token
What we need it for: Enables Qvasa to pull Zendesk conversations for AI features and advanced analytics. This includes retrieving agent-level metrics, ticket data, and supporting workflows like inferred CSAT and contact reasons.
-
How to set it up:
- Go to Qvasa Settings.
- Locate the section labeled "Save Zendesk API Token."
- Enter your Zendesk API token and save the settings.
2. Company Email Domains
What we need it for: Approving your company’s email domain is required to enable the use of email lists for alerts and workflow outputs.
-
How to set it up:
- Go to Qvasa Settings.
- Locate the section labeled "Company Email Domains."
- Add your company’s email domain (e.g.,
@yourcompany.com
) and submit it for approval. - If you have at least 3 users in Qvasa with confirmed emails, your domain will be approved automatically.
- If you cannot meet the 3-user requirement, contact Qvasa Support for assistance.
3. Email Lists
What we need it for: Email lists allow you to send alerts or workflow outputs to a group of email addresses, even if the recipients are not Qvasa users.
-
How to set it up:
- Ensure your company email domain is approved (see above).
- Go to Qvasa Settings.
- Locate the section labeled "Approved Email Lists."
- Create and save email lists by adding the addresses you want to include.
4. User Groups
What we need it for: User groups are lists of Qvasa users that can receive alerts and workflow outputs. Unlike email lists, user groups are restricted to users within Qvasa.
-
How to set it up:
- Go to Qvasa Settings.
- Locate the section labeled "Qvasa User Groups."
- Create a group by selecting users within Qvasa and saving the configuration.
5. Slack App
What we need it for: Enables Qvasa to send alerts and workflow engine outputs to Slack channels for real-time communication.
-
How to set it up:
- Navigate to Qvasa Settings.
- Locate the section labeled "Configure Slack."
- Follow the on-screen instructions to authorize Qvasa to send messages to your Slack workspace.
With these configurations complete, you’ll be ready to unlock the full potential of Qvasa. If you encounter any issues during setup, contact our support team for assistance.
